Sustainability Promotion Strategy
To pursue corporate sustainable management and development, fulfill corporate social responsibility, meet social needs, norms and values and pay back to the society, TWC has formulated the following corporate social responsibility policies based on economic, social, environmental and corporate governance aspects and the accountability to stakeholders as well as corporate ethics.In order to pursue the sustainable operation and development of the enterprise, fulfill the corporate social responsibility, and meet the social needs, norms and values, the four aspects of the economy, society, environment and corporate governance are specially formulated with stakeholders and corporate ethics. Sustainable Development Committee
TWC established the Corporate Social Responsibility Best Practice Principles in 2014, set up the Corporate Social Responsibility Promotion Committee , renamed the Sustainable Development Committee in 2023, in response to the international trend for sustainable development, with the chairman serving as the steering committee, the president as the chairman of committee, the vice president of the Dept. of Planning as the deputy minister, the director of the Dept. of Planning as the executive secretary, the corporate governance officer (secretary of the BOD) and the heads of relevant business units of the general management department as ex officio members, while the independent directors were invited to serve as committee members and trade union representatives.

TWC’s stakeholders
TWC is a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and its service scope is exclusive and different from other enterprises. TWC's operation is to fulfill its commitment to various stakeholders and strive to achieve the expectations of various stakeholders. . TWC refers to the stakeholder groups in related industries, and follows the five principles of AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standards (SES): dependence, responsibility, influence, multiple viewpoints, and tension. Affected stakeholders were identified through identification procedures and importance scores, and ten major categories of major stakeholders were identified.
